Canva, irrespective of the design, provides great flexibility when adding clickable links. This guide will help you create a PDF, add text, and add a clickable link through a simple demonstration to get you all covered.
Adding a Clickable link in Canva
Before adding a clickable link, navigate to Canva on your browser and sign in with your credentials. Start with an existing design listed in Recent designs, or create a new one using Create a new design button.
- With the new/existing design loaded and the canvas displayed, press T to add a text box to the design. Alternatively, navigate to the editor panel on the left, click on Text, and then Add a text box to the text box on canvas.

- Once the text box is added, select it and type to insert text in it. With the text inserted, select the text to which you want to add a clickable link and then press Ctrl+K or press the Link icon after selecting the text.

- If you do it right, you are presented with an input box in which you type/paste the URL. Now cross-check if you have done it right by opening the link and clicking it.

- Once you’re sure, navigate to the top right corner and click on Share. By doing so, you are displayed with different options for clicking Download.

- With this, the download tab appears, from which navigate to File type, choose PDF Standard or PDF Print from the drop down, and click the Download button.

Wrapping up
Congratulations on creating a clickable link in a PDF created on Canva!
While there are no issues with adding a clickable link in Canva PDF, if you are unhappy with the result, use a text editor like MS Word or a conventional PDF editor – Adobe Acrobat for better results.
