Figma lets you download the design in the desired format through its export tool. In this guide, we will help you download the Figma design using PDF through a demonstration to get you covered.
Export Figma to PDF
- Open Figma and sign in with your credentials. If you don’t have an account, create one and get started. Once you are successfully signed in, open an existing design from Recents or create a new one using the Design file button present at the top right corner.

- When the existing or a new design is loaded, work on the design and make changes. Before proceeding with making changes, ensure the design has Frames.
- Once done, navigate to the top left corner and click on the Figma icon. Now, from the available options, click on File, followed by Export frames to PDF.

Pro Tip: If your design doesn’t feature a frame and you want to save layers as a PDF, navigate to the Export section in the Properties panel, set PDF in the drop-down menu, and click the Export button associated with it.

Wrapping Up
