Emojis can help make your design feel more friendly and expressive. Unfortunately, Figma doesn’t offer an inbuilt tool to add emojis. In this guide, we will allow you to add emojis without relying on a plugin using an inbuilt emoji keyboard on Windows and Mac.

- Open Figma on your browser and sign in with your credentials. Next, open the design file you’re working on from Recently viewed.

- After the design file is loaded, add a text box by pressing T or loading the Text box from the toolbar and dragging over the canvas.

- Once the text box is added, press Windows + . key combination to load the emoji keyboard on Windows.

- Now, explore the emoji and click on any to add the emoji to the text box in Figma.

- Repeat Steps 1-2 from the above approach to add a text box to the canvas in Figma.

- After the text box is added, press Ctrl + Command + Space to load the emoji picker.

- Explore the available emojis and click on the one of your liking to add the emoji to the text box in Figma.
