- Open Character.AI in your browser and log in with your account details. Once logged in, select the character you’ve been chatting with from the left quick access menu.
- You can also explore other characters on the homepage or use the search bar to find any character you want to chat with quickly.
- In the message box, place double asterisks on either side of the text you want to bold – [**message**]. Just make sure there are no spaces between the text and the asterisks.
- After sending the message, you’ll notice that your text is now bolded.
Bold Text for Custom Characters
The best part with Character.AI is you get to add bold text to your custom character’s greeting or definition to make your interactions more engaging. Here’s how to do it:
- Open your custom character, click on the three horizontal dots at the top-right corner, and then select Edit.
- Next, edit the text in the greeting or definition section by adding double asterisks on either side of the text you want to bold – [**text**].
- Once you’re done, click the Save and Chat button present in the bottom-right corner.
