If you’re working on frames and want to resize the frame, you might notice that the content inside doesn’t resize according to the new dimensions, making it irregular. In this guide, we will demonstrate how to resize a frame with contents inside without issues using the Scale tool to get you covered.
Resize Frame in Figma with Content
- Start by navigating to Figma on your browser and signing in with your credentials. Once done, open the design file you’re working on Recently viewed.

- After the design file is loaded, navigate to the frame you’re working on. For demonstration, we have created a frame with an image and text inside it.

- If you try to resize by selecting all the contents inside the frame and dragging one of its corners, you might end up with an irregular frame with the layers’ position disturbed.

- To address this issue, first select all the layers inside the frame by dragging the cursor over them. After making the selection, press K to load the Scale tool. Now, resize the frame, and you will notice all its contents resize accordingly.
