If you’re new to Figma, we assume that you have accidentally enabled the Dev mode and couldn’t get out of it. In this guide, we will help you to get out of it using simple steps to get you covered.
Exit Dev Mode in Figma
- If you have turned on Dev mode on Figma, you might have an interface similar to the one below.

- To exit the Dev mode, navigate to the top right corner, and you will notice a toggle next to Share. If you find it, you will see that it is turned on, and turning the Toggle off will exit the Dev mode.

- If you’re on dev mode accidentally, we believe that you accidentally pressed the Shift + D key combination, which is the shortcut to turn on/off the Dev mode.
If you can’t exit the Dev mode even after following the steps, try the below.
- Try logging out of Figma and signing in with your credentials.
- Clear the cache and cookies of your browser.
- If you’re using the Figma desktop version, log out and try again. If it doesn’t work, reset it or uninstall it and reinstall it.
