Figma lets you save the design files in different file formats. If you’re trying to save a design file as a JPEG, this guide featuring a simple demonstration will get you covered.
Save Figma File As JPEG
- Open Figma on your browser and sign in with your credentials. Now, open the design file you’re working on from Recently viewed.
- After the design file is loaded, select the layers you want to save as JPEG. You can do this by dragging the mouse while holding the left button. Alternatively, you can select the layers from the layers panel on the left by holding Shift.
- If you have selected a single layer or want to save the entire file, skip to Step 4. However, if you have multiple layers, select all and press Ctrl + G to group the selections.
- After making the selection, navigate to the Properties panel on the right and click on Export.
- In the Export section, click on the dropdown and select JPG. To save the entire Figma file as JPEG, don’t make any selection and click on the Export button.
