If you’re working on your prototype and want to share it with others, Figma allows easy collaboration with its Share capabilities. In this guide, we will help you get started by creating a prototype and generating a share link using the easy steps below.
Share Figma Prototype
- Open Figma on your browser and sign in with your credentials. Next, open the Figma file that you’re working on from the Recently viewed.

- If you haven’t started with any, get started by clicking on the New design file button.

- Once the new or existing design is loaded, create a prototype. Once done with the prototype, navigate to the top right corner and click on the Present button from the toolbar.

- By doing so, the prototype opens on a new tab. Now navigate to the top right corner and click on Share prototype.

- From the Share this prototype tab that appears, adjust the options under Who has access and click on the Copy link to generate the link.

- The copied link can now be shared, and those with access can view the prototype.

Wrapping Up
Congratulations on learning how to share the Figma prototype!
While these steps help you share the prototype easily, we advise you to be aware when sharing the link, especially when the access is set to Anyone, as even those without Figma can view it.
In this scenario, the best approach is to invite the person you want to share the prototype or adjust the access settings.
