It can be a hassle to change the fonts of multiple text boxes at once. Unfortunately, there isn’t an option for it on Figma. In this guide, we will help you change all fonts at once through a simple demonstration using a plugin to get you covered.
Change All Fonts in Figma
- Go to Figma and log in with your account. On the home screen, find and open your design file from the Recently viewed section. If you don’t have a file yet, click the new design file button.

- Once your design file is open, select the text boxes you want to change font. For demonstration, we added multiple text boxes.

- Now, change the font of each text, navigate to the toolbar at the top, and click on Resources. Next, click on the Plugins tab, search for Font Replacer, and click on Run.

- After doing so, the font replacer plug-in loads. To replace the fonts, first select the layers where you want to replace them. In the font replacer plug-in, you’ll see the current fonts for those layers.

- Next, under “Replace existing fonts,” choose the fonts you want to replace. Then, from the “with a new font” section, pick the new font you want to use and click “Replace.”

- If done correctly, the text in your text boxes will update to the new font you selected.

Wrapping Up
Congratulations on learning how to change all fonts in Figma!
While the Font Replacer plugin is handy, the downside is that it is paid. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way around this except for manually selecting the textbox and updating the font.
