Figma’s projects allow you to store all your design files in one place, collaborate with others, and create teams. If you’re new to Figma, learning how to create a project is essential for staying organized and managing your work efficiently.

Create a Project in Figma

  1. Navigate to Figma and sign in with your credentials. After you have successfully signed in, navigate to the quick access panel on the left and click on All projects.

  1. Once the Figma Projects page is loaded, create a new project by clicking on the + Project button present at the top right corner.

  1. Doing so opens a dialog box, in which you’re first asked to assign the project a name.

  1. After you have entered the name, you’re presented with the second step, where you can add people to your project and manage their access. Once you’re done making the changes, click on the Create project button.

  1. If you have done it right, you will find the project successfully created and added to the All projects page.
