If you’re working with shapes or vectors on Figma, you might come across a situation where you need to delete a point to get it right. In this guide, we will present a simple demonstration to help you delete a point.
Delete a Point in Figma
- Navigate to Figma and sign in with your credentials. Next, click on the file you’re working on from Recently viewed.
- After the design file is loaded, double-click on the shape, or the vector to reveal its anchor points.
- Now, select the point you want to delete by clicking on it. If you’re trying to delete multiple points, select the desired ones while holding Shift.
- Now, press the Shift + Delete keys together to delete the selected point/s. Keep in mind that deleting a point deletes the lines/layers associated with it.
