- Start by navigating to Figma and sign in with your credentials. After you have successfully signed in with your credentials, look for the Import option and click on it.
- Doing so, the Import box appears, and you’re presented with two options. Now, look for the Import from computer option and click on it to load the File Explorer.
- Now select the .sketch file and open it to import the sketch file onto Figma successfully.
Import Sketch File Into Figma from Figma Editor
- From the Recents page (homepage) on Figma, open the design file you’re working on from Recently viewed.
- After the design file is loaded, navigate to the toolbar and click on the Figma icon present in the top left corner to display options. From the options, navigate to File and then click on New from Sketch file.
- Doing so opens the File Explorer, and selecting the .sketch file successfully imports the sketch file onto Figma.
