Unfortunately, Figma doesn’t let you move a page to another file. It has been a requested feature for years, but Figma hasn’t added it yet. Here is the link to the Figma forum – Move a page from one Figma file to another.
Note: Considering the feature isn’t provided, we have provided steps only for copying layers from one page to another file. While the steps mimic moving the page to another file, you will have issues like missing elements, comments, non-functional prototypes, and more.
Move Figma Page to Another File
- Open the Figma file from which you want to move the page. Once it is loaded, navigate to the Layers panel and click on Pages.

- From the list of pages, select the page that you want to move to another file. Next, press Ctrl + A or Command + A to select all the layers.

- After they’re selected, press Ctrl + C or Command + C to copy all the layers of the page.

- Now, create a new file and paste the selected layers by pressing Ctrl + V or Command + V.

Wrapping Up
The above steps can be handy for pages with simple designs that don’t have instances or layers that aren’t connected between other pages within the file.
We hope Figma introduces a direct way to move pages between files in the future. Until then, this method should serve as a helpful alternative for moving design elements across files.
