If you’re new to Figma and have created a new design file, you might have noticed that its name is set to Untitled. In this guide, we will help you to set the name or rename it through different methods to get you covered.

Name a Figma File from the Home Page
- Open Figma and sign in with your credentials. Once you have signed in, find the design file you have created from Recently viewed.
- Now, select the file and right-click on it. From the options, click on Rename and change the name.
Name a Figma File from the Canvas
- Open the file you’re working on and navigate to the toolbar to find the name of the file in the center.
- Now, double-click on the file name to rename it. Alternatively, you can right-click, select Rename, and change the file’s name.
