If you’re new to Figma, it is important to learn how to install plugins, as these can be very helpful when working on a design. With a wide collection of plugins for different purposes, you’re always covered for your different design needs.

Install Plugins in Figma on UI3
- Open Figma and sign in with your credentials. Open the design file you’re working on from Recently viewed. If you haven’t started yet, click on the New design file.

- After the new or existing design is loaded, navigate to the toolbar and click on Actions.

- Now, click on the Plugins and widgets tab and type in the plugin name you want to install in the input field provided.

- After you find the desired plugin, click on it. Next, click on Run to install the plugin.

Install Plugins in Figma on the Old UI
- Open the design file you’re working on and navigate to the toolbar. Next, click on Resources.

- Now, click on the Plugins tab and type in the plugin name you want to install in the input field provided.
- Unlike the new UI3, you can install the plugin by clicking on Run next to the product name.
